The chair frame and footstool are UV and weather-resistant so shouldn't fade. The cushions are splashproof (so if any spills occur, pick up the cushion and give it a firm pat on the underside to encourage the droplets to roll off). However, the cushions should not be left outside or in damp conditions. Store them somewhere warm and dry. For the price quite a good chair. However, it is very complicated to assemble the instructions after the base and for the canopy are not that good and I can see why it needs professional assembly. I wish I had added this on as I now cannot assemble the canopy and have had to call in a handyman. The material the canopy is made of is not weatherproof and it does state susceptible to mould.
