With its sturdy wood construction, this feeding house will last for long years, and is large enough to hold seeds and nuts, giving squirrels safe access to the food in the winter. Food stays dry in both rain/ snow. The back plate with mounting holes for easy mounting to fence posts or tree.

The pre-drilled holes didn’t line up perfectly and the back board is warped, but it will serve its purpose. I’m guessing squirrels will chew off the plastic hollow-wall fasteners meant to protect hands from the sharp screw ends.. Katherine. Cayuga, NY. Sat Nov 09 2024
