Yes a lot of assembly, the table was difficult as nothing lined up!! I've been building furniture for the past 38yrs. So am able to find a way around things, but in all honesty, the majority of the public will struggle. It was difficult bending the metal into position, will it last? Heaven knows. But advert should state difficulty is assembling for those who are not quite capable in putting furniture together & there are many out there. Do like it though. Too soon to comment on whether these have been a good buy as not had enough time (or the weather) to judge. However I managed to build them and am happy with the appearance. One leg of the table is shorter than the others so it’s a bit wobbly. Some of the screwhole alignment wasn’t great and it’s essential not to fully tighten the screws in the chairs and table until they’re all inserted - which it does say in the instructions. It was a bit of a fiddle to build and one of the chair screws is only partially inserted due to the seat and side panel not fitting closely together due to how it has been manufactured, so I’m hoping it doesn’t collapse when sat on - time will tell!!. Do not order!! The description says the tabletop is grey, and it’s not it’s dark brown. My husband built the set when I was out so had no idea. I thought at first I had been sent the wrong tabletop. I queried with the supplier and they tried to blame it on the screen resolution, then said it was a ‘slight variation in tone’ which it absolutely is not. It’s a totally different colour to the one shown in the images. Returned for a refund. Why would you make a set with 10 black and light grey chairs and a brown table anyway Doesn’t make any sense!.
