The design looks good with our Lutyens bench and we like the size as it's not too big (a couple of people could sit alongside each other on it if you wanted to use it as a bench rather than a table). It really needs two people to assemble it as the legs aren't easy to attach - once you have one side of a leg pair attached, you need to flex the wood by pushing on it (HARD) to get the other side in - which my husband managed to achieve with the application of a bit of BF&I, but it wasn't easy. Spent afternoon putting table together, instructions not very good but I managed. As you can see the first photo shows that the slat is cut short. The table is exactly as it was described and what I wanted. My only negative is that it was forecast to arrive on Tuesday 8th April . I checked that date before leaving home for the weekend . But whilst I was away I received an email to say that it had been delivered. I had no notification of the date being changed. It was left outside my front door which is right on the side of the road and I had to make frantic calls to neighbours who kindly took it in. This is a great size and height for our decked seating area. It works really well as a coffee table, but if I’m bbq-being or eating outside, there is plenty of space for food and drinks. It has a hole in the centre for the parasol, but not in the feet that cross underneath, so not sure how to stabilise the parasol. If anyone has and suggestions, please share It was easy to build.
