The Darwin Elevated Garden Bed turns dreams of homegrown herbs and veggies into a flourishing reality. An innovative self-watering and draining system is coupled with Keter's unique water-level indicator to ensure plants stay perfectly hydrated. Elevated ergonomics allow for comfortable tending to the garden bed without crouching or bending, while the beautiful dual tone finish and embossed wood like textures blend into any garden, balcony, or rooftop.

This raised bed is well worth paying a little more for. It took about an hour and a half to assemble (32 screws) but the finished product is excellent quality. It is very sturdy, strong, fade proof, waterproof and has a modern colouring to blend into most gardens, it won't need painting or treating, and I found it a good height for me at 5 foot 5 inches. Once filled with soil it is also wind proof. You can plant about 15 lettuce comfortably, or more if you plant them closer still. The bonus for me which I was not aware of before ordering, is the water gauge. The gauge tells you when to water your plants, or if there is too much water in the bed, if it is flooded from rain there is a plug to release the excess water onto the ground below or into a watering can. Very impressed overall with the design, and it should last for years. Would buy again.. Ht. Herefordshire, GB. Wed May 13 2026

This weathering steel hexagon garden raised bed is a great choice for DIY enthusiasts to decorate their gardens, balconies, or patios. Durable material: Corten steel, also known as weathering steel. This is anti-corrosive by its very nature. It develops a rusty protective layer against corrosion when first exposed to atmospheric conditions. Thus, you don't need to paint it. This can help you save on maintenance and repair costs. The distinctive brown colour on the corten steel will surely be an eye-catcher. Finally, weathering steel is exceptionally durable and will stand up to the test of time. Ample space: The planter is deep and wide enough to hold a large amount of soil and provide ample space for your plants, vegetables, herbs, and flowers. Sturdy frame: The steel frame and interior support brackets of the raised bed ensure sturdiness and stability. Open bottom: The bottomless design provides good drainage for plants and prevents water buildup that causes the roots of plants to rot. It also allows plants to better absorb nutrients. You can place it on soil, grass, or concrete floors. Safe edge fold: The rim of the garden pot has an edge fold design, so no dangerous sharp edges are exposed. Good to know: This product is not rusted yet and has a normal metal colour when you receive it, but rust will develop over time. You could speed up the rusting process by spraying it with soap water and salt water. To keep your clothes stain-free, avoid contact with the developing rust layer. To make assembly as easy as possible, each product is delivered with a manual.

Overall for the money it’s ok , very fiddly to put together and not sure how long it will survive , but it was on sale so happy , will go rusty over time so will get the look in after in due course .. Suzanne. Wed Mar 25 2026
