Fabulous heavy parasol base! Just a pity they didn’t include one of those “thin” spanners to tighten the nuts on the castors. Had to buy one as ordinary spanners are too thick to tighten the castor nuts securely. Otherwise 5 stars!. Christina. Bangor, GB. Sat Aug 30 2025

Rather disappointed with this. The casting seams are not properly finished leaving sharp and rough edges around the holes in the scroll work. The glossy paint finish looks cheap and the paint effect is very poor especially on the steel upright. Also looks as though we need a sand bag as this has already blown over on a day of ‘gentle breezes’. Sadly does not add a ‘classy accent’ to our garden.. Anne. London, GB. Sat Jul 25 2026

A rock in the sun! The sturdy, Schirmherr free-standing stone umbrella stand will always keep your umbrella firmly under control, no matter what the weather. Not only does the natural stone hold your umbrella securely in place, but it will also prove to be an eye-catching piece on your balcony, terrace, or in the garden. Its space-saving design with an offset tube makes it perfect for positioning close to a wall. A plastic ring prevents direct contact between the stand itself and the pole of the umbrella. Two adjustable screws on the bracket secure the umbrella in place and further add to the overall sturdiness of the parasol. The stainless steel flange at the stone base offers even more stability. Four non-slip rubber feet keep the stand firmly in position, but should you need to rearrange your outdoor setting, the recessed side handles facilitate the repositioning of the umbrella stand and make it easy to move the heavy object to any desired location.
