Corrosion Resistant Tube Bird Feeders

This heavy-duty bird seed feeder gives the feeding ports extra strength - great in the battle against squirrels. The removable top and base allow for easy cleaning - the base can be taken off when the bottom 2 feeding port perches are removed (the Allen key for this operation is included). The feeder will hold approximately 600g of seed mix. Ideal for hanging around the garden or from feeding stations. The width is 14cm with the perches, 6cm without. The feeder comes complete with a metal seed catching tray that simply screws into the bottom. This tray will catch all the seeds and seed casings that are discarded or dropped as the birds feed, helping keep lawns and flowerbeds clear of debris. The tray also acts as a secondary feeding platform for birds to feed on.

Keep squirrels away from bird food with this ingenious bird feeder. Coming complete with a large hanging hook (16cm x 15cm), this feeder has an array of features to try to keep the wily squirrel away from precious bird food. Firstly, it has a metal lid to stop squirrels from gnawing through to the food from above. The lid has a closing mechanism that is undone from underneath. This lid then overhangs the seed container by 3.5cm all around making it hard for the squirrel to navigate. Underneath this, there is another metal baffle of the same dimensions that creates another obstacle in the intruder's path. Finally, the perches in front of the metal feeding ports are spring-loaded, so if a squirrel does get this far, they will have their footing removed as soon as they place weight on the perch. The feeder also comes with 3 inserts that can be placed in the feeder ports to make them suitable for niger seeds.

A beautiful looking bird feeder, with a lovely copper, coloured top (this is made from electroplated metal - so hardwearing as well as attractive). Simple to fill (the hook unscrews to let the top off), the metal cartridge holds the seed in place and the bird feeding ports are made from metal - so hard-wearing and tough.
