A good looking and very sturdy piece of garden furniture. As others have described, it can be a little awkward to assemble, but I did it on my own (4 hours) closely following the clear instructions. I found, as others found, the bolt through the seats to be most challenging. Needed to fabricate the 13mm socket with a piece of foam inside to stop the nut from going in too far, then I could bolt together, first without washer as bolt is short until seated, undo, add washer and bolt up again. Yes, I then needed a second person for turning it upright as it is too heavy to lift by one person once assembled! Timber is a natural product and will expand and contract with changing climatic conditions which may lead to slight cracking. This is perfectly normal and does not affect the longevity or structural strength of the product.
