We were looking for a free standing awning to shade one side of our 3m x 3m pergola. This awning was the perfect answer. A couple of cable ties to hold it in place and the job was done! Construction was straightforward BUT you have to have the winding mechanism on the left. Our manually retractable awning can be adjusted by turning the hand crank and fixed to the desired position and be fully extended for optimal protection against solar radiation.
