Excellent door canopy. Fairly easy to install (one person job if you feel keen). Had a minor issue with putting a wall bracket in the wrong place but contacted Palram customer services, who are sending replacement wall plugs etc free, so excellent service from the manufacturer, even during the pandemic. This door canopy can be used over doors, windows, patios, porches, or air conditioners to create a shed for a longer roof as needed.

Sliding the canopy plastic into the brackets is a bit fiddley but once it is in place and the screws are secured the canopy is rigid and ready to fit. It would have been useful if the instructions stated the required drill size but it is easily measured, 10mm. I spent a while marking the the wall making sure it would be level end spacing was correct. It was helpful to have some help lifting it into place and fixing in place. The excellent product needs a bit more added to installation instructions and print on the instruction leaflet to assemble the unit on the ground and make a template out of the delivery cardboard box and publish the drill size needed 5MM and the horizontal distance between the bracket holes are 37 inches! Pin the template to the wall and mark the holes you need two people to lift the assembly and hammer in the bolts until 10mm away from home and use a ratchet socket driver to do the final tightening! If you want added strength to the frame assembly drill the front bracket hols with a 3mm drilbit and use self-tapping screws to secure the frame assembly further. Unless you are engineering savvy ask a professional's help! Or ask the factory engineer in China to drill all the holes necessary for pre-packing! An engineering marvel at an affordable price delivered to your doorstep! I run a 100-year-old Chevrolet car make all my parts for maintaining it and have done so for 50 years, so in good authority to comment on the excellent quality of this product!.
