Eucalyptus is one of the most robust wood types, with properties similar to teak. This furniture does not require any special care and is weatherproof. It is advised to use standard caring oil for solid wood in order to keep the original colour as long as possible. Otherwise, the furniture may take on a grey tone over time, which is preferred by some people. For extra comfort, the chairs' backrests can be adjusted to eight different positions and can be folded when not in use so they do not take up too much storage space. The set is being delivered fully mounted.
Bought 3 sets to replace existing garden dining chairs that have served us well for 15 years. The Peony chairs as not as robust as the ones being replaced (but what is these days) though were considered to be acceptable quality for the price paid with the added benefit that they were already pre-assembled unlike chairs available from others at a similar cost. Delivery arrived before the estimated delivery date even though they were coming from Germany; the products were well packaged in heavy duty cardboard boxes with no damage during transit. The quality and finish of the chairs is good and there are no issues
