Great bench perfect for any size garden. Storage part is not waterproof, but is a handy storage area. I have kept a waterproof bag in mine so that I can keep blankets etc in. So easy to put together, two of us put it together just so one could stabilise while the other screwed it together but could be put together with one person. The pre-drilled screw holes were great, and the wood is soft enough to screw into if the holes are not quite bored out. Lovely item.. Simone. Cardiff, GB. Mon Jun 15 2026

Unfortunately when putting together due to the wood being soft the screws went straight through the holes and did not grip. Had to glue all the joints and use wood filler. Also had to varnish with clear satin. For a memorial bench it was not fit for purpose but we needed one to unveil to family who had traveled from afar. Sorry to report this. Bought loads from Wayfair and all had been brilliant.. Phil. Torpoint, GB. Sun May 23 2021
