Very nice addition to the patio. It is a light-medium weight metal, which is easy to move but I am a little concerned about durability. I have to say that I am absolutely in love with this fire pit and the table that hides the propane tank. It is well-made and absolutely stunning. It does produce quite a bit of heat even in open areas. The only thing I do not like is that it is very low to the floor. If you were wanting to use it as a table, I would recommend using a riser underneath to lift it off the floor, even like to round cylinder outdoor tables that are maybe 20 inches tall would look cute and some plants underneath I do give it a five star rating and I highly recommend for purchase. I've had this for a couple of years now and we still love it. It's outdoors year round in the Pacific Northwest and is holding up very well. I did buy a metal lid separately to protect the fire pit from all the pine needles. I do cover it with the included cover when it's not in use. The fire pit has held up very very well. I got the fire pit that is setup for natural gas. I had a line installed under my deck when I replaced my deck. So no need to have a tank to hide or worry about running out of propane.
