The firepit houses a 5kg propane gas bottle which is hidden away from view keeping the clean lines of the Cosicube The 5kg propane gas bottle can be purchased from all good gas retailers. Why propane gas? A conscious decision was made to make the fire pits only work on propane gas, and not on natural gas. Propane is one of the cleanest fuels in terms of CO2 emission and is a by-product of both the extraction of natural gas and the refining of crude oil. The Cosicube Grey Wash Fire Pit is delivered including a 30 mBar regulator with gas hose, 4 ceramic logs, lava stones and a battery to power the ignition. Well made and aesthetically pleasing. Just be sure they send you the correct version though as we requested the rust-coloured one but were delivered the stainless steel version. We decided to keep it rather than send back and after several uses it has already taken on the weathered look we desired.
