Okay - so i paid less than £75 for this having read the previous reviews. They all sound correct to my experience. Of course its not going to be fully waterproof with a rain tarp that doesn’t cover the entire tent, so do what i planned to do before my purchase - get a cheap tent and buy a tent tarp that can either be used as a stand alone, or with this tent. That way you can use the tarp independently if you want. I bought a tent mallet, self inflating electric double mattress, lamp, and foldaway table, and the tarp - for less than the price of another six man tent more rain proof. So I loved the size of the tent. I loved the ground sheeting of both the sleeping chamber and the hallway. It’s a good solid ground sheet. Plenty of room for me my friend and the dog. We really put it through it’s paces weather wise and I’m afraid it didn’t stand up to scrutiny. It’s not waterproof. I’m going to have to spray it with waterproofing solvent to get it near to the shape necessary for holidaying in Scotland. The guy ropes are not placed well so it sags and when it’s raining or windy this is a disaster. I’ve purchased two more clip in guy ropes and this should solve the issue in the back and front. I’ll follow up if that works. This is a beautiful tent and I did enjoy it. The holiday wasn’t a total washout because I had packed plenty of towels and waterproof coverings and luckily it was sunny in the morning and we could dry things off. £150??? Really???
