I like the side canopy very much. Unfortunately weather hasn’t been up to using it. It was bought to hide a building that is in terrible state of repair. The instructions to mount and build were absolutely useless. So beware if you are a person who has little knowledge of mounting on walls!. Anonymous. West Byfleet, GB. Fri Jun 12 2020

Rubbish and not worth the money. When you unroll it, it goes back wonky, which creases the material. Also, when fully extended, the material isnt tight and sags. Very disappointed as I had great hopes for this.. Lyndy. St. Helens, GB. Fri May 26 2023

The instructions for the assembly and installation of this product are beyond a simple DIY person. Only experienced DIY people should takle this awning because:- 1. The instructions are in gibberish translated from chinese by a chinese person and do not make clear sence. 2. Some instructions are missing, particularly where to fasten the mounting brackets on the wall. 3. Where and how to mount the 'blockers'. 4. The fixing bolts for the brackets are not suitable for using with hollow bricks. New fixings had to be bought. 5. It is impossible to mount the unit on the wall once it has been completely assembled due to the weight and being able to mark and secure the bolts on the brackets. 6. The mounting brackets should be fixed with only the mounting bar, before the canvass and roller have been added to it. 7. The bolts to hold the unit to the brackets cannot be fitted as instructed because the roller and canvass obscure the holes for the bolts. They have to be inserted from below, not above as instructed. 8. Once built using initiative and mods to the instructions and new fixing bolts it has performed very well.. Tom. Harrogate, GB. We were looking for a free standing awning to shade one side of our 3m x 3m pergola. This awning was the perfect answer. A couple of cable ties to hold it in place and the job was done! Construction was straightforward BUT you have to have the winding mechanism on the left. This means the roller only goes one way, so be careful to wind the cloth right-side up as there is a (slight) difference between the sides. Great value and highly recommended.. Mr M B. Chaldon, GB.
