This hanging bird feeder comes complete with an integral squirrel baffle to try to stop them from getting at the bird food. The feeding tray is positioned underneath the baffle, which in turn is adjustable in its position on the hanging hook. This enables the baffling part to be raised or lowered to get the perfect position to let the birds in but keep the squirrels out. I purchased this treadle feeder - It is expensive but you have to get the angle right for continuous feed which takes time and if that stalls there is the problem of damp mouldy feed. It is perfect for rodent problems and will last for years but will not work for small bantams as they will not trigger the weight and if you make it too sensitive the grain gets wet and eaten by rodents..
