The birdhouse stands stable on a 3-legged stand and the bird food is in the cottage from weather influences, sufficiently protected by the large roof. Beautiful and the birds love it too!!! Only drawback is it’s a little short... My dog can reach it so I’m assuming cats will be able to attack birds..... Vicky. Fife, GB. Sun Jul 26 2020

This is certainly squirrel proof. My squirrel seems to have stopped trying to get into it. It says it’s for nuts but am not sure if this will work as holes extremely small. Will leave a bit longer and then try seeds. Jessica. Bury St. Edmunds, GB. Fri Feb 04 2022

Oval-shaped, the body of the feeder stands 26cm tall (40cm including hanging loop) and features two round feeding ports at either end. With two smaller feeding troughs under the windows, this garden feeder is perfect for smaller birds to perch and have their fill. Filling this feeder is simple as the lid simply lifts away from the body and a plastic-coated wire hanging loop allows for positioning on branches, hooks, or feeding stations.

Excellent bird feed hoppers. Larger than expected which is a bonus, well made and well worth the cost. These will be easier to fill and to keep clean. Look good hanging and will last way longer than the cheaper plastic feeders on the market.. Douglas. Sat Jun 22 2024

Nice feeders birds love them. Erin. Felpham Bognor Regis, GB. Fri May 13 2022

The central hanging wire makes this feeder easy to hang from branches or feeder stations. Whilst it is stable for songbirds to perch and feed on, the design makes it less stable for large birds such as pigeons, and dare we say it - squirrels (although we would suggest a squirrel baffle to make sure of this). Sold in a great value set of 2, these feeders both have a capacity of 600 grams and can take either seed or nuts. The lids have a simple twist and lock opening mechanism that makes it possible to refill while hanging. The feeder base has drainage holes in the base to keep the tray from filling with water and has 6 feeding ports to enable all-round dining; this makes viewing easier and increases the potential for attracting a variety of birds to the feeder.

Fill this trendy copper silo with nuts or peanuts. Because of the open structure, the birds can approach from all sides and enjoy the nuts. The tray on the bottom will ensure that feed and nutshells don’t fall on the ground but remain in the silo. Apart from that, the bowl has holes to drain the rainwater to ensure that the feed will not remain to lie in the water. It is easy to refill this nut silo by opening the screw-on lid.

This bird feeder really stands out in my garden because it is made of copper.. William. Glasgow, GB. Sat Jul 16 2022

Anonymous. Thu Jul 25 2024

Keep squirrels away from bird food with this ingenious bird feeder. Coming complete with a large hanging hook (16cm x 15cm), this feeder has an array of features to try to keep the wily squirrel away from precious bird food. Firstly, it has a metal lid to stop squirrels from gnawing through to the food from above. The lid has a closing mechanism that is undone from underneath. This lid then overhangs the seed container by 3.5cm all around making it hard for the squirrel to navigate. Underneath this, there is another metal baffle of the same dimensions that creates another obstacle in the intruder's path. Finally, the perches in front of the metal feeding ports are spring-loaded, so if a squirrel does get this far, they will have their footing removed as soon as they place weight on the perch. The feeder also comes with 3 inserts that can be placed in the feeder ports to make them suitable for niger seeds.

This high-quality mealworm feeder is a great addition to your bird-feeding setup.
