This is perfect for a cantilever parasol which does not have the upright in the centre but has an offset base. I despaired when I got this parasol because the slightest breeze sent it over without the umbrella even being open! This base is a perfect size and fit ( didn't need the stand it came with) and will take a lot of water so is weighty! And it came within 24 hours of ordering.. Wendy. Selborne Alton, GB. Fabulous heavy parasol base! Just a pity they didn’t include one of those “thin” spanners to tighten the nuts on the castors. Had to buy one as ordinary spanners are too thick to tighten the castor nuts securely. Otherwise 5 stars!. Christina. Bangor, GB. Sat Aug 30 2025
