The sofa frame and tables are UV and weather resistant so shouldn't fade. The cushions are splash proof (so if any spills occur, pick up the cushion and give it a firm pat on the underside to encourage the droplets to roll off). However, the cushions should not be left outside or in damp conditions. Store them somewhere warm and dry. Great set - quality wood and feels like it will last a few seasons. Will coat with a good wood protectant but otherwise needs nothing and is very comfortable. Heavy pieces that feel solid.
