The fabric is good quality, but that's where the quality ends. The main (4m long) reel is made up of 4x 1m sections that slot together. However there is not much overlap and they do not fit tightly, so there is significnt sag when assembled - looks absolutely awful. Spending an additional £30 on aluminimum angle-iron sections screwed to the inside of the tube solved this. The supplied fixing screws are very, very weak and sheared off with only moderate force from a hand screw driver, rendering them useless. Elegant, decorative, and practical, the Aquila Door Canopy 1500 GREY CLEAR helps to protect your door and windows from inclement weather. It is crafted with powder-coated galvanized steel support arms and a clear UV-resistant solid panel. Its front gutter and hidden gasket direct rain and snow off to the sides, keeping your entrance clear. This do-it-yourself product is made of high-end materials to ensure durability for many years of use and its locking system makes assembly easy.

We had been looking for something that would give us shelter and protection outside our front door for years! A custom made porch was too expensive and rather ugly! Then we saw the Aquila Door Canopy. It looked modern, stylish and sturdy. It was not going to be easy to assemble as our front door is a corner entrance. We had to change the method of assembly as we could only approach the canopy from one side! The metal structures were quite heavy, but the screws and raw plugs were of high quality and did the job! You can lean ladders against the canopy.....it proved to be very strong. We are very pleased with the canopy and we are sure it will stand up to the elements! Time will tell!. Anthony.
