Otherwise, the furniture may take on a grey tone over time, which is preferred by some people. For extra comfort, the chairs' backrests can be adjusted to eight different positions and can be folded when not in use so they do not take up too much storage space. The set is being delivered fully mounted.

Bought 3 sets to replace existing garden dining chairs that have served us well for 15 years. The Peony chairs as not as robust as the ones being replaced (but what is these days) though were considered to be acceptable quality for the price paid with the added benefit that they were already pre-assembled unlike chairs available from others at a similar cost. Delivery arrived before the estimated delivery date even though they were coming from Germany; the products were well packaged in heavy duty cardboard boxes with no damage during transit. The quality and finish of the chairs is good and there are no issues with poor quality finishing or staining as sone reviewers have reported. Hopefully these Peony chairs will give many years of good service. One slight irritation was that two weeks after we bought the the chairs the price was reduced by £30 per set. John. Buckinghamshire. Crazy Expensive, sturdy, on the low side, lovely design. Seat with no cushion is not useable doesn’t look good either!! Metal rods sparsely woven ‘wicker’ - very flat, hard uncomfortable AND unnecessarily so. Would give 5 stars if seat were a little higher made as well as the rest of the chair - clearly not realistic to leave cushions on in all weathers! Will become grotty even if used only indoors. ------------------ Bought two more a year later - AWFUL - 1 side is 1 inch lower than the other on BOTH chairs and no reealistic way to adjust with out a visibe extention to one leg.
