These chairs are foldable for easy stowing (during winter) and transport. The frame is made of robust flat steel and has a back powder coat, while the slats are made from teak. Teak is one of the most robust wood types and is easy to clean and maintain. It does not need to be revarnished but should be treated with caring oil from time to time. The metal feet have plastic caps to prevent scratches on sensitive floors.
