Parasol base is important. It doesnt come with it. If try to find whic is compatible on the phone they give you a code and you wait like more than 30 minutes. the product seems alright but service needs to improved. I love the look of the rectangular umbrella. But note, that the stand shown is not the one included with the umbrella. This is such a large and solid item with a brilliant range of movement it’s really impressive. My only disappointment was some really poor stitching on the fabric. I sorted it and hope this was a one off as it really does seem like a great quality item. This comes with a base but YOU NEED WEIGHTS. Even when not windy. The reason for the 1 Star - I purchased this product on their Way Day Sale assuming that this would be the best price. Well - their Way Day Sale ended and a day later the product was again on sale for $60 dollars cheaper. I called to inquire about the lower price and they would not offer it to me. The product had not shipped and I could not cancel the order. They stated the only way to get credit back was to refuse the order. I talked to a customer service rep and they stated they also talked to their manager - still would not give me credit for the lower price. Well - they just lost a customer due to their poor customer service. Would it not just have been easier to do the right thing -instead of losing a customer along with a bad review - I guess not!
