Stainless steel analogue window thermometer. Screws included to fix instrument onto window frame.

I am a bit of a temperature watcher ( sad I know ) and decided to invest in this outside thermometer. I have found it to be the best one I have ever had, mainly due to its accuracy, build quality, and ease of reading. You can sit and watch the pointer go up or down the scale as the temperature varies which I have never seen on any other thermometer before. Well worth the money,. David Winter. United Kingdom. Sun Jun 28 2020

See the temperature inside or out. The energy saving thermometer uses the built in suction cup to attach to the inside or outside of your window. Powered by an ecologically sound panel, the thermometer features an energy efficient 1.5V battery for back up. The neat modern design is water resistant with a big transparent LCD display, showing the current temperature and daily maximum and minimums. I was disappointed with the thermometer as the numbers are difficult to read. Joy. Doncaster, GB. Tue Sep 17 2024

Excellent quality. It was pretty fast to set up, apart from the mains in the back of the weather station, which were a bit fiddly. I waited until five p.m. to get the signal. All is working perfectly. Occasionally, it shows the wrong time; place it by a north-facing window so it receives the Greenwich Mean Time signal. It should pick up the signal after a while.. I like the sleek low-profile design. Everything works ok, but I didn't realise that you have to press the button for the backlight - the rest of the time the display is dark and unreadable so just looks like a black and white cube.. Christina. Nottingham, GB. Mon Aug 30 2021

These distinctive ornamental (but functional) thermometers utilise 17th-century astronomer Galileo Galilei's discovery that the density of liquids varies with temperature. Carefully weighted glass globes are suspended in a liquid-filled tube, where they sedately sink or float as the surrounding air gets hotter or colder. Temperature is indicated by the engraved brass tag on the lowest floating globe. 5-Globe models are 33 cm tall. Temperature is shown in Celsius.

This weather station is your own personal weatherman, and not just a fair weather friend. Having access to extensive information on the current, forthcoming and past weather make your life that little bit easier. The system consists of two components: A compact base station, on which measured data can be conveniently read from a distance and a handy wireless outdoor sensor. This means that the device provides you with a wide range of data, such as temperature, humidity, air pressure, lunar cycle as well as moonrise and sunset. The information is clearly visible on a 14.5cm colour LCD display with a blue backlight on the side. Self-explanatory weather symbols and clear presentation make it particularly easy to read. Its internal memory automatically stores collected weather data, allowing for future evaluation of air pressure, temperature, etc. Meanwhile, the integrated alarm function is particularly useful if you want to be notified about certain weather phenomena. It allows you to stay one step ahead and always be prepared. However, this weather station is more than just a weather indication instrument. The compact base station has a black high-gloss front panel, which looks beautiful in both living rooms and bedrooms. You have the option to position it free-standing or attach it to a wall using the rear fastening point. Two programmable wake-up alarms and the snooze function make it ideal for the bedroom. Power is supplied to the base station via the mains supply or two optional AA batteries. Meanwhile, the measuring station needs three AAA batteries. With a range of up to 100 metres, there's lots of flexibility when it comes to positioning. This weather station means that you'll know exactly when to expect rain, how hot or cold it's going to be and the speed of the wind. Please note that while the outdoor sensor is resistant to rain, it should still be positioned under a canopy or in another weatherproof location.

The advert says that this is designed for wall mounting indoors our outdoors and it has a robust and durable, weather resistant build. We bought it to use outside so we can get outside temperature in particular and have had it for two weeks. Last week in the rain it filled with2-3mm of water at the bottom inside the glass and steam on the inside which has rendered it unviewable. It obviously leaks. Really unhappy with this purchase..
