Constructed from solid acacia wood with stain and clear lacquer, with galvanised steel fixings, and finished that complement the wood beautifully, this set is designed to last and look fantastic while doing it. The frames are UV and weather resistant so shouldn't fade. The cushions are splash proof (so if any spills occur, pick up the cushion and give it a firm pat on the underside to encourage the droplets to roll off). However, the cushions should not be left outside or in damp conditions. Store them somewhere warm and dry. If they do get wet then allow them to fully dry in the sun or somewhere warm before you store them. This product is FSC® certified, meaning the wood used is sustainably sourced. Please note the scattered cushions are not included in the set.

This two seater set was so simple to put together. Easily manageable by one person or a very speedy job for two people. It is foldable for easy transport and storage. Additional information: The structure of these deckchairs is coated with tinted oil during manufacture. Eucalyptus is a living material. As a result, its appearance changes over time and some cracks appear. This is normal and is what gives hardwood its much appreciated authentic charm. Although robust and weather-resistant, eucalyptus requires a little maintenance to prolong its life. Wash stains with soapy water and a sponge.

They arrived untreated with a teek stain, that looked almost peachy in color. It was easy enough to stain a few shades darker, to the color I wanted. Plus, it helped seal the wood from weather. Also, I am switching out the cushions, for a different color. The quality of cushion is fine, a little thin. So, a little extra work, but it was worth it for a relatively inexpensive patio chair set.
