I had to rethink whether or not I wanted this outside. It is a lovely figure. I added it to an outside rock garden that has small fairies, gnomes, items that my grandchildren admire. Not sure if there are variances of product, but mine did not have any shading and was a very even, smooth cream color. I will be looking for it's mate and purchasing that one as well.. Julie.
