Kicking off our summer with this amazing Palisade outdoor bar was the best choice ever! I bought this for my husband who loves to entertain but hates being outside. Took 2 days but 3-4 people, need to make sure you level and check diagonals at all times (luckily my dad knew these things) hardest part and time consuming part is the roof shingles instillation, someone needs to not be afraid of heights and on sit on the roof. My parking space is surrounded by fence on three sides and sits under an apple tree. After experiencing one round of severe hail damage and suffering through another fall of my car being pelted by apples, I began the quest for a carport and landed on this Sunjoy model. I couldn't be happier. At 20 feet long, it covers my entire Q7, and the width was perfect for my parking space. I can definitely open the car doors on both sides, and parking between the posts is no problem. Speaking of posts, our handyman built concrete bases for the posts because of the slope of the space. One other thing to know: in the blueprint on page 4, the distance from post to post is actually 227 inches (not 229.13 as stated in the book.) Just put this Backyard Discovery gazebo together this weekend, found all the parts were in their packages. Instructions at first are daunting but once you get started it’s not so bad just a lot of steps. Took about 2 days, and we took our time. Luckily my husband has his own tools so we didn’t use any of the included tools. Seems very sturdy and well made. I liked that all parts are bolted or screwed together, not glued. I am absolutely delighted with the quality of the kit and the value for money. After a good deal of research I thought this product would be exactly what I needed. I was not disappointed; indeed I remain very pleased with the purchase and the thought that has clearly gone into the design, typified by the design and way to fasten the top of the top roof (sorry forgot the technical term).
