We bought the pergola to provide shade over our hot tub. It has the added bonus that if we lower the front panel it gives us complete privacy from neighbouring properties. It wasn’t the easiest thing for two people to build because of its size. There were two different sets of instructions neither of which were particularly clear. The product we received was actually made by 'Outsunny'. The second Outsunny product we've bought for the garden this year and both have been very impressive. This is extremely sturdy, well designed, well manufactured. Two of us put it together and it took time, as we were being very careful. Instructions are pretty good, but we did have to undo one stage as it is possible (without us realising) to get the orientation of the legs wrong! It was an easy fix. The cloth is perhaps a little lightweight but my wife is a dab hand with a sewing machine and plans to make something from a more weather resistant fabric. This is really good value for money.im really pleased with this it took a friend two hours to put it up. It hasn’t been secured to the ground yet but will have to be as it’s on my patio. But I am really pleased with it. My garden is very sunny and a brolly was useless as I had to keep moving it as the sun went round. I really love it.
