The lid of the feeder is made from tough resin, whilst sturdy wire mesh holds the bird food in place and provides a secure foot hold for birds. The mesh gaps are also small enough to keep a variety of nuts and peanuts in place. With a sturdy wire hanging cable, this feeder can be hung from a hook, crook or branch. The acorn shaped feeder is easy to refill by simply pulling the lid away from the body.
