Chunky and traditional in look, high in oil content, able to withstand daily use. All joints mortise and tenon secured with dowels. Made from grade a teak which appears as a warm honey colour and will over time will turn a silver grey. Grade a teak is slightly oily to touch as it is very dense and rich in protective oils, naturally resistant to the elements and extremely long lasting.

Heavy and good quality, sturdy. The only criticism I have are the dowels, some holes should have been drilled 2 mm deeper.. Peter. Cleator, GB. Sat Jun 08 2024

This side chair has a reinforcing corner insert at a pivotal point for strength and stability. When left outside teak will fade to a silvery grey colour if left untreated. This is perfectly natural and does not affect the structure of the product.
