This product is FSC certified, meaning the wood used is sustainably sourced. Eucalyptus is one of the most robust wood types, with properties similar to teak. This furniture does not require any special care and is weatherproof. It is advised to use standard caring oil for solid wood in order to keep the original colour as long as possible. Otherwise, the furniture may take on a grey tone over time, which is preferred by some people. For extra comfort, the chairs' backrests can be adjusted to eight different positions and can be folded when not in use so they do not take up too much storage space. The set is being delivered fully mounted.

This side chair has a reinforcing corner insert at a pivotal point for strength and stability. When left outside teak will fade to a silvery grey colour if left untreated. This is perfectly natural and does not affect the structure of the product.

Chunky and traditional in look, high in oil content, able to withstand daily use. All joints mortise and tenon secured with dowels. Made from grade a teak which appears as a warm honey colour and will over time will turn a silver grey. Grade a teak is slightly oily to touch as it is very dense and rich in protective oils, naturally resistant to the elements and extremely long lasting.

The high-quality pine wood is chamber-dried before processing to avoid rough outlines due to moisture and to ensure maximum strength and stability of the furniture. An open-pore glaze is used for surface treatment. If after-treatment is required at a later stage (depending on weather conditions), it can be done with any outdoor suitable wood protection glaze. The chair is constructed from 35mm thick pine wood and therefore very sturdy, withstands high loads and usable in the outdoors. After delivery the chair will need to be assembled, which only will take a couple of minutes. The parts of the seat and back are already pre-assembled and need to be screwed together. Detailed assembly instructions, as well as all parts, are included in the delivery.
