Great bench perfect for any size garden. Storage part is not waterproof, but is a handy storage area. I have kept a waterproof bag in mine so that I can keep blankets etc in. So easy to put together, two of us put it together just so one could stabilise while the other screwed it together but could be put together with one person. It is recommended to treat the bench occasionally with commercially available hardwood oil to maintain the original rich hue. Otherwise, in the course of time, the Pistache Wooden Storage Bench will gain a greyish patina, which is often appreciated by connoisseurs.

Our outdoor storage benches are made using vintage style apple crates, they are raised off the ground with rubber feet to prevent the wood sitting on wet surfaces, the lids are hinged and upholstered in 12 ounce canvas which is a Polyester / Cotton mix. This fabric is perfect for use outside due to it being flame retardant, water, rot and mildew resistant. The storage bench opens up which makes them perfect for tidying away garden tools, outdoor toys, logs for the fire pit, or bar b que utensils. Height: 18", Width: 38.5", Depth: 14.5"

I was very surprised by the quality of this product, it's not the strongest I have seen, however once built they're solid and sturdy. Easy to follow instruction.
