Due to the size of my balcony, I had given a lot of thought to what type of sun lounger would work best. This turned out to be a fabulous choice. I love its versatility. I can simply use it as a chair (with the leg-rest folded neatly underneath the chair) if I don't want it to take up all the space. And because it's supported as a chair, it needs less floor space even when fully opened, which makes it easier to fit and manoeuvre around. It folds down completely, making it possible to lay comfortably on your stomach and can be neatly folded and stacked against the wall when not in use. It feels sturdy and is very comfortable. The two reasons I didn't give it 5 stars are because it takes some jiggling to fold it up and down, and it doesn't come with a mattress - and I couldn't even find one designed especially for this chair to buy as an add-on... This elegant sun lounger unfolds to let you stretch out in style. Made from Grade A Teak which appears as a warm honey colour and will over time will turn a silver grey. Grade A teak is slightly oily to touch as it is very dense and rich in protective oils, naturally resistant to the elements and extremely long lasting.

A sturdy, well-made product that is really comfortable. It benefits from a foam cushion which has to be purchased separately. I bought one of these beds 2 years ago as a present for husband (now I want one too) although it is a fairly expensive item, it is definitely superior to others that look similar - no armrests to get in the way. This lovely sustainable sun lounger is for those who like a larger sun lounger that lies completely flat for sunbathing. The timber used for this sun lounger has been sourced from legal and Government controlled sources. One of the notable features of this sun lounger is that there are no hinges to rust and break! The manoeuvring of the backrest is via a huge teak dowel thus giving the sun lounger a superior benefit over other sun loungers. The sun lounger is heavier than both of the steamers but is quite manoeuvrable thanks to the rubber wheels built into the design. The backrest reclines to 5 positions, including flat, there is a great little slide-out drinks tray included which slides out both sides.
