Yes a lot of assembly, the table was difficult as nothing lined up!! I've been building furniture for the past 38yrs. So am able to find a way around things, but in all honesty, the majority of the public will struggle. It was difficult bending the metal into position, will it last? Heaven knows. But advert should state difficulty is assembling for those who are not quite capable in putting furniture together & there are many out there. Do like it though. Too soon to comment on whether these have been a good buy as not had enough time (or the weather) to judge. However I managed to build them and am happy with the appearance. One leg of the table is shorter than the others so it’s a bit wobbly. Some of the screwhole alignment wasn’t great and it’s essential not to fully tighten the screws in the chairs and table until they’re all inserted - which it does say in the instructions. It was a bit of a fiddle to build and one of the chair screws is only partially inserted due to the seat and side panel not fitting closely together due to how it has been manufactured, so I’m hoping it doesn’t collapse when sat on - time will tell!!. Gorgeous bistro set! Sturdy yet easy to carry, move, fold, and store. The set is 5 stars I took off one star for the packaging — those horrible styrofoam blocks that crumble and stick to everything, and the box was bashed in and partly open because it wasn’t as sturdy as it could have been (but the set was unharmed). A beautiful Dayana 2-seater bistro set with cushions. Perfect for that chilled-out drink on the patio or balcony at the end of the day or out in the sun, or supper alfresco to enjoy the summer evenings. When not in use the furniture stacks to save space or even to create an attractive garden sculpture/feature. Ideal for any size garden, patio, or decking.
