The clock arrived with the glass smashed and when I opened the plastic bag, the box it was in wasn't sealed so the glass fell out a over me and the floor. There was nothing in the box to protect the glass except for a small peice of bubble wrap, so no effort had been made to protect it. The clock itself is flimsy cheap plastic and I would have returned anyway had it not been damaged. When reporting the problem, I was given 3 options - two of which were to keep the product and be refunded 40% or to apply for a total refund but I might have to send the product back (I chose the latter). I was then given the first option of my refund being via a credit note or second option of a refund back to my payment card (I chose the latter). I was then told that I wouldn't have to return the product at all, so I'm very glad I chose the full refund! It feels a little bit like they were trying to trick me during the returns process which is a shame as I've had great experiences until now.
