The Planets span an arc from the long tradition of glass art in the Beachcrest Home glassworks to modern design. Our glassmakers implement my designs with great skill, applying old glassmaking techniques in a new context. Seconds and the smallest of movements determine the color and surface structure of the hot glass oven. The liquid glass mass changes its character during production, it glows, steams and flows. In these moments, the glass is reminiscent of glowing hot suns in the universe.
