Welford Table Vase 1

The pine cone, both botanically and symbolically, holds a rich history dating back to ancient Greek times. Functioning as a reproductive organ, it embodies fertility and prosperity, reminiscent of the Greek god Dionysus. In spiritual wisdom, it symbolizes the awakened inner spiritual wisdom, often associated with the third eye. Today, it signifies a welcoming and hospitable home, making it a compelling souvenir from Sicily.
