A Great print of his work that isn’t easy to get hold of so was a surprise to see it at Wayfair and at a very affordable price. It’s a shame it isn’t available in a much bigger size as it would look spectacular on a large wall. It’s hard to find a ready made frame for it as it’s a square so can be more expensive to get it framed than for the print itself but it looks so much better framed than hanging from a wire and will last so much longer and maintain those vivid Art Deco colours longer too. This is art that you will want in your home for years To come and will make a statement splash of colour in a monochrome room. Robert Delaunay was the husband of the more well known Sonia Delaunay whose abstract Often colourful paintings Influenced by jazz from 1930’s still look contemporary today. If you are A fan of modern art this is the real deal. Forget the stylised and bland works that you see all over the place and say nothing and offend no one, look for art that says something to you and celebrate the Diversity of work out there and no more Butlers on the Beach please, that says nothing. ,I’d rather have a blank wall than have to look at that every day.
