Ocean Life by James M. Sommerville - Wrapped Canvas Art Prints

“Ocean Life” by James M. Sommerville (physician, and amateur naturalist, 1825-1899) was realised for the publication of his anonymous pamphlet in 1859, and it is now considered one of the earliest American submarine illustrations. The illustration captures exquisite details of the ocean life and its inhabitants, corals, shells, fishes, sea horses, anemones, algae etc. This reproduction is a high-quality giclée on canvas that is the perfect fit for your home or office. It is printed with specific water-based inks, non-toxic and durable, in order to convey the brightness and hues of the original artwork, and then hand-stretched on solid wood bars by our dedicated production team. Its quality ensures that it will maintain its beauty over time.
