I like my timepiece; however it would be more serviceable if the numbers were illuminated to be visual in the dark

The clock which is sturdily made arrived well wrapped and double boxed with padding so there was no visible damage. It looks quite stylish on its shelf, and is easy to read. Looking at the back the mechanism is housed in plastic and is clearly marked as being made in China, it keeps good time so far (1 Hour) and I am pleased. Looking at the front it is made of solid brass which is reassuringly heavy, my only concerns are how long will the mechanism last and how soon will the brass tarnish
