I was very surprised that a Howard Miller clock was of such poor quality. This clock is not worth the money and is cheaply made. Upon delivery the second hand mechanism was not attached to the back of the clock. I am very disappointed in Howard Miller.

True to scale as stated, distressed look as this is what was needed. The second hand was not attached but lying at bottom of box. Placed it on assuming it will stay in place. Two 2-AA batteries required - one for minute/hour hand, the other for the second hand. Pendulum has large magnetic coil to hopefully last for many years. Works great. A very nice clock.
