Landscape Near Collioure, 1905 - Wrapped Canvas Painting

I love abstract art and being able to own a reproduction was thrilling. Of course the real and authentic Bonheur de Vivre (Joy of Life), 1905-06, oil on canvas is completely out of my price range. So I ordered the 18" x 18" x .75"D print on canvas because I wasn't sure if I was going to frame it or not. It's in my entry hall and I like it. The only reason I gave it four stars is because the colors aren't as vibrant as it looks on my computer. Perhaps being on a "cotton canvas" using "Epson anti-fade, ultra chrome inks" just dulls the colors (oddly it photographs very vibrant but in person does appear that way). And it does say "Note: Please be aware that actual colors may vary from those shown on your screen". It doesn't matter to me I still really love it. Also, my husband is just the opposite of me and likes more traditional non abstract art. Decorating and designing around his white, beige traditional proclivities has been a real challenge. So far he is dealing with it. I paired it with a rug I also ordered from Wayfair.

I adore this canvas. It went perfectly with the shower curtain.

Again, the bright colors please me no end. Of course Matisse is a master and it shows.

Very happy with this painting. There was a little too much orange for my decor, so I used acrylic paint to make it more pink. Turned out great

It’s fabulous. Brightened up our hallway and bounced off the colors in our adjacent dining room. Stretched perfectly.
