Overall I like these bookends; they are sturdy; 4 stars instead of 5 because I expected (based on the online image) a shinier brass-like finish, but they are dull gold color with very little sheen.

These bookends have a nice weight to them which I wanted, plus it has a minimalist style which matches my decor. These would definitely hold a lot of books with no worry of it sliding. They will definitely do the job!
