Looks different than I expected but I may not have looked at the images close enough. It didn't seem to look obviously plastic but after unpacking it's clearly a plastic basket. It's fine as it won't trap the smells. I thought I'd break it snapping the lid into place but it clicks in with enough force. Overall it looks tidy

Arrived in an enormous box and with a separate lid to attach. Opened up and there was dirt and a spider in the bottom of the bin. The lid wouldn't go on and when I tried to make it fit it broke. Don't buy it's cheap plastic rubbish.
