This clock is fitted with anodized aluminum columns and an 8-day skeleton movement.

I love the way it works and winding it up is a nice change with the key. It also keeps good time, and it looks nice.. Cath. Gateshead, GB. Wed Jan 15 2020

This tabletop clock has a retro look and is the ideal combination of a classic and modern style.

Very nice clock though I find the hands are rather narrow making it difficult to see them to tell the time. Arrived faster than expected, thank you, clock looks lovely.. Mary. GB. Sun Apr 01 2018

I had a mantle clock which was 70 years old and one of the winding springs failed. It wasn't worth repairing because of its age. Then I found this mantle clock from a respected German manufacturer as a replacement. I am delighted with the clock. It looks solid and well made and the chiming mechanism is just delightful. I am pleased with my purchase.. Michael. Tue Jun 23 2026

Antique stylish clock with mechanical skeleton movement.

Looks very nice on my fireplace mantlepiece. Expensive looking. Quite difficult to tell the time on it if you are not right in front of it and any more than 3-4 feet from it due to the very thin spindly hands. Also don't plan on having any naps in the same room as it as it has quite a loud tick and bell. Easy to set up on my mantlepiece even though it turned out not to be absolutely level and prevented the pendulum swinging freely. It's feet are adjustable and I just had to lower the front ones to level it, stop the pendulum fouling and get it going.. James. Lochgelly, GB. Sat Jun 25 2022

A lovely clock, the wooden case is very well finished and the brass movement looks the part. Was expecting it to be a bit larger, but the dimensions mentioned are correct so no problem.. Anonymous. Mon Jun 11 2018

This tabletop clock with astronomical indicators in addition to hour and minute display has an astrolabe on top. The sun, moon and earth are moved by the clockwork movement around the upper wheelwork gear in their daily, monthly (moon around the Earth) and annual revolution (earth around the sun) in naturalistic timing. The date and month positions are displayed as a zodiac sign in the upper display area on a decorative image scale of the horizontal clock adjuster. The clock reproduces the annual orbit of the earth around the sun in one year, while the earth rotates once around itself every 24 hours. The moon orbits the earth once every 29 1/2 days and turns once on its axis, which from earth, we see as the individual phases of the moon. The Earth passes all twelve zodiac signs, months and days, which can be read on a flat, cylindrical dial. The timings are shown in real time but the geometrical dimensions are not.
