The item description is misleading and inaccurate. I was drawn to this clock as the case was made of rosewood. It was, however, on close inspection so heavily coated in the finish of ‘Rosewood Hall’ as to lose sight of any solid wood being present. There is no way a customer could see this without physically viewing the product. So it is very disappointing to have to pay £9.15 postage (£4.16 to receive, £4.99 to return) just to inspect the product, only to find the clock case was a high gloss manufactured wood.
