Born in Dorset, Greenacres studied illustration at Redruth Art College, Cornwall. Following 20 years in the advertising and craft industries, Greenacres decided to return to his first love, painting. Greenacres work is primarily inspired by his lifelong love of the Dorset seaside; the result of childhood summers spent on the beach in Lyme Regis or on his grandfather’s deep-sea fishing boat. Painting primarily on wood, reminiscent of the driftwood found on beaches, Greenacres pieces have a natural, innocent feel reflecting his admiration for naive and primitive art. In 1989, Greenacres escaped from urban mayhem to a farmhouse in the countryside. He remains a convert to the pleasures of rural life, living with his two children and horses in Wiltshire. Designed and printed in the UK, part of the funky art cushion range, this cushion will look great in any VW camper, bus, even on a sofa or bed and is a must for anyone with an interest in VW campers or giving their home a retro look. These cushions are made with a super soft faux suede, machine washable and comes complete with the cushion pad. As with all the products they use archival inks to get the brightest, saturated finish possible, these bring life and style to any room setting.

Made from superior quality cotton at the lowest possible price. Super soft to the touch but also incredibly durable. The timeless geometric patterns will suit any room. Perfect to decorate your home and add a touch of stylish fashion to your sofa, bedroom, living room, or office. Our home textiles are designed to maintain their high quality, even after many washes. For best results, wash on a gentle cycle in cold water and use a bit of fabric conditioner to keep them soft to the touch. Avoid bleaching as this can damage the material and will cause discoloration.

Staithes is a favourite visit, and the cushion is instantly recognisable. Visitors have commented and asked where they were from....all positive comments. Look fab on brown leather sofas with teal and turquoise cushions from wayfair. In direct sunlight and have been resilient to direct light - no signs of fading!! Soft feel, very cosy! Would have gone for larger size but couldn't justify it...in hindsight, they are a canvas on the sofa- so go bigger if you can!. Julie. Sunderland, . Tue Jul 14 2015
