The curtain's are quite thin and am hoping that will not effect the thermal aspect, the long drop one's are good but the short ones are not the same length by 10mm which is quite noticeable on one curtain, I suppose as they were not that expensive, we can live with that, the colour is very good and the creases are dropping out so over all not to bad a buy.. What’s the best way to guarantee a good night’s sleep? Treat yourself to these stylish, soft-feel blackout curtains and make your room as dark as possible. It really is that simple. Why do we hear you ask? Well, evidence shows that light has a profound effect on our sleep: in short, the absence of light at the end of the day sends a critical signal to our bodies that it’s time to rest – a process governed by the sleep hormone melatonin – and light exposure at the wrong times alters this internal sleep clock. The best thing you can do to ensure you, and your children, get the sleep you need for good health and wellbeing is to make the room as dark as possible, and these Bigham eyelet blackout curtains are the solution for every budget, space, and requirement. But there’s more. In addition to blocking all light from the sun, car headlights, and security lights, these blackout curtains offer thermal insulation too. They are the ideal winter buy, helping to keep heat in as the temperatures drop – and they serve a valuable purpose in summer too, helping to block out the sun and keep your house cool when the UK is hit by a heatwave.
