What’s the best way to guarantee a good night’s sleep? Treat yourself to these stylish, soft-feel blackout curtains and make your room as dark as possible. It really is that simple. Why do we hear you ask? Well, evidence shows that light has a profound effect on our sleep: in short, the absence of light at the end of the day sends a critical signal to our bodies that it’s time to rest – a process governed by the sleep hormone melatonin – and light exposure at the wrong times alters this internal sleep clock. The best thing you can do to ensure you, and your children, get the sleep you need for good health and wellbeing is to make the room as dark as possible, and these Bigham eyelet blackout curtains are the solution for every budget, space, and requirement. But there’s more. In addition to blocking all light from the sun, car headlights, and security lights, these blackout curtains offer thermal insulation too. They are the ideal winter buy, helping to keep heat in as the temperatures drop – and they serve a valuable purpose in summer too, helping to block out the sun and keep your house cool when the UK is hit by a heatwave.

Features a luxury woven fabric, these eyelet curtains are sold ready to hang, in any bedroom, living room, or any room that needs a new window treatment. Lined with a microfibre lining for improved drape.

Curtains are not as thick as I expected and due to the material of the curtains they cannot be ironed so I had to hang them up wrinkled hoping that over time they will straighten out, however 1 months and the creases still remain. Aside from that, they do block out the sunlight to an extent. Long term use- Ill probably buy a better quality pair in future as although they look OK hung up they do feel quite flimsy.. Anonymous. This Scandinavian-inspired modern floral pattern will add a contemporary, cool look to any home. The eyelet curtains and matching cushions are available in the season's most on-trend shades.

These curtains are beautiful! I bought a box opened set as I have an odd size window so it was very likely Id only need 1 curtain & it would need shortening so didnt want to pay out alot! Although they are not thermal - 1 curtain still made a quite a difference to the temperature of my kitchen when pulled across! They are such good quality I decided I did not want to cut the 1 curtain I needed to use - I folded it to correct length & tacked it as I will definately keep this set & use it when I move in future! It still hangs well with extra wide hemline! Colours are same as shown in listing photos.. Dragonwoman333. Winchester. Mon Oct 10 2022
